Vivid IP's Beth B. Moore Nabs Award from Georgia Screen Entertainment Coalition

On her one-year Vivid anniversary, Senior Counsel Beth B. Moore is recognized for her legislative efforts to support Georgia's entertainment industry

This week marks a year of the Vivid team having Beth B. Moore among our ranks—and it's not a surprise that we're not the only ones who want to recognize her stellar record as a resource for Georgia's entertainers.

We're thrilled to announce that Beth is one of several legislators chosen by the Georgia Screen Entertainment Coalition to receive their Friends of Film award. The GSEC is a under the umbrella of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce, meaning this award meant to "recognize the important contributions of Georgia’s screen entertainment industry and have worked to ensure the resiliency and growth of the sector."

Beth has the distinction of being the only member of the Georgia House of Representatives who also works in entertainment law. As a leader for District 95—who's currently running for re-election—her focus centers on fostering social justice, accessible healthcare options, and economic innovation. The latter is where her love of the film, television, and music industries comes in—a passion that lends itself perfectly to Vivid IP's mission: To boldly protect all intellectual property as if it were our own.

We're excited and thankful to have spent a year learning with and from Beth as our firm has started covering new ground. Working with artists and creators is never a dull job, which is why we're looking forward to proving Vivid IP as a trust legal resource for Atlanta's entertainment community.

Read on below to see the full list of recipients of GSEC's Friends of Film award. And as always, if you're a creator or entertainer who's looking for assistance in the legal department, don't hesitate to drop us a line!
