Vivid IP Welcomes Our 2019 Summer Associates

This summer Vivid IP welcomes Noémie Broussoux-Coutard and welcomes back Elizabeth Shively for our 2019 Summer Associate Program.

Noémie is a rising 2L at Emory Law School and is part of the TI:GER program and the Transaction Law certificate. Born in France and raised in Montreal, Canada, Noémie provides a bold international perspective to the law firm. Her interest in intellectual property law stems from her marketing background, having spent 4 years as a marketing strategist developing a brand from its infancy into a successful company. She truly believes that intellectual property is the perfect intersection between marketing and the law, and she is looking forward to fiercely protect the firm's client's intellectual property rights. When out of the office, Noémie enjoys outdoor activities, such as fishing and kayaking, as well as indoor hobbies, like playing chess, Scrabble, and video games with her friends. Upon graduation, she hopes to become an intellectual property attorney, focusing on trademarks, copyright, and cyber-security.

Last summer Elizabeth participated in Vivid IP’s, formally Sperry IP Law, Legal Intern program. During the program she gained experience with real world IP legal matters including but not limited to trademark selection, clearance, prosecution, registration, and portfolio management. This experience cemented her interest in IP, as she believes wholeheartedly in the protection of one’s intellectual creations, as cognition is the most unique and integral part of an individual. She recently graduated from Harvard University with a bachelor's degree in Government and a secondary in Economics. Much of her college experience was defined by her time on the softball team, as it taught her invaluable lessons about grit, determination, integrity, and passion. Although her time as a collegiate athlete is over, she will always have a passion for softball and Harvard Athletics, as she intends to be an active alumna in the Harvard Varsity Club and Friends of Harvard Softball board. She will be afforded the opportunity to attend Georgia State University College of Law this fall, and she is excited to begin her legal education. This summer, she hopes to continue to gain experience with IP litigation matters and become fluent in the legal language associated with IP law, as well as grow her professional network and learn from the Vivid IP team.

The Vivid IP team is excited to have them on board for our program which provides law students with hands-on, real world IP experience.
